SickKids Cancer Sequencing Program
KiCS is a research study at The Hospital for Sick Children. It is for children (and adults) who have been diagnosed with a solid tumour or a blood cancer (leukemia or lymphoma). In this study, the researchers will use a new technology called next generation sequencing to learn about your child’s tumour and his or her healthy cells. Most children with tumours do not yet have this kind of test as part of their regular care.
